Columbus homeowners dealt with some extreme weather events this year. The rain and occasional flooding caused multiple problems for all of us. To lower the humidity and speed up the drying process, technicians install dehumidifiers to draw water directly from the air. They also set up exhaust fans to pull damp air from inside and force it out of the home. For very wet floors and carpets, technicians install air movers to direct warm, dry air across the surfaces. The action forces moisture out into the air where it is either captured by the dehumidifier or carried out by the airflow generated by the exhaust fans.
